Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, telephone number, or address entered to the third-party provider that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only what the sender chooses to provide, and we use it to answer that message.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, visited page, and time of access. Aggregate logs help maintain the service and show which resources are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic traffic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
Collected data supports site operation, fault diagnosis, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Government portals, San Mateo County and California offices, libraries, and third-party search tools set their own privacy terms. Information submitted after following a link is governed by the destination service. Sponsored search results also come from an outside provider with separate data practices.
Who May Process Information
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. We may disclose data in response to valid legal process and do not otherwise distribute visitor information.
How We Protect Your Data
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your California Data Rights
California privacy rights may allow a person to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data held by a covered business. The state's data-broker framework appears in Civil Code Title 1.81.48, section 1798.99.80 and following sections. Because we hold very little, a request usually means checking contact mail and available server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Records kept by Menlo Park, San Mateo County, or California agencies remain under the custodian's control, so correction or removal requests for those records must go there.
Changes to This Policy
A revised policy will appear on this page. Continued site use after publication indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
